EU Delegation to the African Union Offers Funded Traineeship Opportunity
Are you a recent graduate fascinated by international relations and eager to work with a diplomatic mission? The EU Delegation to the African Union may have the perfect opportunity for you! They are seeking young professionals for a funded traineeship based in Ethiopia.
Key Requirements
- Must currently reside in Ethiopia
- Master’s degree in political science, international relations, economics, law, or related social studies.
- Maximum of one year of professional work experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Passionate about the African Union’s politics, economics, and governance.
Traineeship Responsibilities
- Support the Political, Press and Information: Policy & Cooperation Sections
- Attend key meetings and prepare detailed minutes.
- Contribute to statements, speeches, reports, and information gathering.
- Focus on mobility, migration, youth, economic integration, and multilateral relations.
- Help prepare for important EU-AU events.
- Draft press releases, project summaries, and other communications.
- Assist with organizing events like seminars and tournaments.
- Research and summarize important political and cooperation issues.
Benefits
- A 6-month traineeship starting in April 2024.
- Receive a monthly grant to help cover living expenses.
