The Next Generation Internship Programme (NGIP)

Since its inception in January 2008, the NGIP has been at the forefront of nurturing talent and nurturing a new generation of leaders. Targeting young West Africans, including recent graduates and early career professionals, the programme offers a six-month immersive experience at WACSI’s headquarters in Accra, Ghana. During this period, interns are fully engaged in WACSI’s core activities, gaining hands-on experience and enhancing their leadership, programme management, and critical development skills.

Eligibility and Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

  • Applicants must hold a minimum of a first degree in fields such as international affairs, political science, public policy, law, or development studies.
  • A keen interest in civil society and non-profit organization management is essential.
