Unlock Your Potential: CRS Junior Professionals Program 2024

Empowering West African Women

Designed specifically for qualified women in West Africa, the CRS Junior Professionals Program aims to empower and equip individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in the field of international development. Through a comprehensive 12-month program, participants will undergo transformative experiences, honing their abilities and contributing to critical programs alongside seasoned professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Economic Development, Agriculture, Health, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain).
  • Recent completion of Master’s degree within 24 months of the program start date (October 2024).
  • Minimum of six months of relevant work experience, including internships, practicums, or volunteer work.
  • Proficiency in the official business language of the country (French or English), both spoken and written.
  • Citizenship of a participating country.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel, with up to 25% of time spent on the move.
  • Readiness to be stationed in field offices outside of the capital city during and after the program.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Agile, proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.

Learning & Professional Development

Participants of the Junior Professionals Program will undergo comprehensive training and mentorship to enhance their skills in project design, program management, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, partnership building, and operations. Additionally, each participant will receive personalized coaching and guidance from a dedicated mentor.

Top candidates will proceed to the interview stage, with video interviews scheduled from April to July (varies by country) and in-person interviews in August. Finalists will receive offers in September, following background and reference checks. The program is set to commence in October 2024.
